About
Caring in Turn is a small publication about a large, quiet thing: grown children caring for their aging parents.
A fuller introduction is coming soon. For now, two things worth saying up front:
Why initialsI write as T.E. — not to hide, but to protect. My parent's story is theirs, not mine to publish, and the privacy of the people I love matters more than a byline. Everything here is true. The name is simply held back so that the writing can be honest without exposing anyone who didn't ask to be written about.
What this isn'tThis isn't medical advice, and it isn't an authority site. I'm not a doctor, a lawyer, or a social worker — just one person doing the work and writing it down. When a piece points you toward a resource, treat it as a starting place, then confirm the details for your own situation and your own country.
If any of this is useful to you, the best thing you can do is subscribe so the first essays find you — or write to me at hello@caringinturn.com.
